Welcome to the 1st Oregon Volunteer Infantry & 20th Maine Volunteer Infantry, Company A, web site. We are a family oriented reenacting group dedicated to the preservation of American heritage through living history recreations. As the 1st Oregon Volunteer Infantry, Company A, we are involved in portrayal of military history in the West during the Civil War period. Many of these events take place at Fort Vancouver, Wa. As the 20th Maine, Company A, we participate in a number of reenactments in Oregon and elsewhere with the Northwest Civil War Council.
